Camdyn came home from preschool the other day declaring, "Girls don't play soccer, daddy!" Then daddy responded with, "Nonsense, Camdyn, nonsense!" Some of the grandparents may recgonize his response as part of a favorite game that Camdyn likes to play. She will say something like, "Mommy, what if you put ketchup on a dirty sock and then you eat it." At which I am expected to reply, "Nonsense, Camdyn, nonsense!" We are often bombarded with similar questions which most often begin with placing some condiment on a non-edible item. "Mommy, what if you put mustard on a bug and then you will eat it..."
So, back to soccer..we think we have convinced Camdyn that girls really do play soccer. If only the weather would allow us to play an actual game!

Camdyn, Daddy went to school with Mia Hamm. She's probably the most famous girl-type soccer player of all time.
