Most of you are aware by now that our family is in the middle of a major transition. We are moving to Northern Virginia. Much easier said than done. Thankfully, we have sold our house, but are still looking for a home to buy in Virginia. Thanks to staggered start dates for our jobs, we are also spending much of the summer going back and forth between here and there. Camdyn and Charlie think they are on one long vacation with LOTS of time with grandparents.
More important that our geographic and real estate changes are the transitions that Camdyn and Charlie have already made this summer. Camdyn learned to ride without training wheels and now is riding her "big girl" bike like a pro. Charlie has given up his pacifier and moved out of his crib.
There are only a few things we will miss about Memphis. Perhaps the greatest of all, is the sense that we are leaving the place where our family began.
