We spent a beautiful afternoon exploring a park near our house called Silver Lake. The park itself was not the greatest (muddy trails that didn't go very far), but we had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful weather and soaking up the sun. We followed the park with pizza at our local pizzeria, then took cupcakes over to a neighbor's house for an evening by their fire pit while the kids played. Whoever said that we find the most joy in life's simple pleasures was very wise.
