Tonight we made our fourth trip to visit Santa. As I've mentioned before, Camdyn is fascinated by him, but refuses to sit in his lap. She has a Santa book that she reads every night and will often talk to me about him out of the blue. She says that "Santa's nice, but lap...no." Tonight we thought that if she went with her best friend Patrick and his sister Caroline that we might have some luck. As you can see, this is a close as we could get without tears. So, we will give up the effort this year and hope for better luck next year. Why are we trying so hard to force an over commercialized cultural icon on our child? For the cute picture, of course!
