This morning, on the way to school, Camdyn and I were discussing Christmas giving, children whose parents didn't have money to buy gifts, etc. I made the prosaic statement about how, "You are lucky to have parents who have enough money to buy everything we need and most of what we want. Some parents don't have money for food, or clothes."
Camdyn's response: "Well, are you saving money for me to go to college?"
"Yes, you have an account for college at a special bank."
"I do? How long have you been saving money? You better not spend any of my college money on anything, mommy!"
She may be five, but she has her priorities!
