The Circus

So tonight was our first trip to the circus! We went our friends, Tricia, Greg, Caroline and Patrick Moody. (Patrick is Camydn's day care friend). Camdyn was enthralled. She loved the animals, lights, sounds, and of course, cotton candy. The only part she didn't like was the lion trainer. She kept saying, "No, no." We don't know if she was saying that to the trainer who was being rather harsh to the lions, or if she was saying that to the lions.
On another note, I survived my first call in the NICU with the micro-premies. It was a little scary at first, but not as bad as I expected. The nurses weren't too mean to me and once you get used to the change in size, the little ones are much like all my other young patients. Only, more fragile and everything is in smaller units. Right now my smallest patient weighs about 850 grams and she is large compared to some of the others in there!
