Parenting is a lesson in timelessness. Children are born and grow before we realize what has happened. There are moments when we are guilty of thinking, "If only they were big enough to take care of themselves..." Then we reach milestones like the first day of kindergarten and birthdays and are struck once again with the fleeting time we have with out precious little ones.
Camdyn has had a HUGE year. She has moved to a new city, new home, new school, new church, new life and taken each change in strides. She has remained as sweet and loving as ever. She is fiercely loyal. She is tender-hearted. She is determined. She climbs trees and does the monkey bars backwards. She reminds me every day and in so many ways that she is unique and independent. She also reminds me so much of myself that it is frightening. Happy Birthday, Sweet Baby Girl!!!

Yes, she is a lot like you. Your dad and I were talking today about how fast our children grew up. Enjoy every fleeting moment.
