Although it seems like summers should be lazy and more stress free, our family has had a busy summer, and we aren't even finished with June yet! We started out the month with Justin being called in for jury duty and having to sit for a federal bank robbery case. Then I started my ward month and have been working every day at the hospital. Throw in a trip to Cleveland, then another to South Carolina and you have just another month in the life of the Allen family. Here is a picture of Charlie helping pull up carpet at the Wesley foundation. See, even our kids are developing a good summer work ethic!
Also, thank you to everyone who has expressed concern and has been praying for our family this week. My parents made it safely back from India and are spending some time in South Carolina with my Aunt Ruth and her family. My trip went as smoothly as one could hope under the circumstances....no accidents and no speeding tickets!
